Welcome to...

The New Market Rebels play in the Shenandoah Valley League.
This is a summer wooden bat league for college players. There are 10 teams in the league.

The Massanutten Mountain makes a beautiful background for games at Rebel Park.
Some of the New Market players get in extra work during the afternoon before a night game.

Although baseball has been played on this field for decades, most of the stadium has been built
since 1989, with a lot of the work being done by Jay Zuspan.

Before the game the Rebels coach, Ray Hedrick, talks
with a fan. Ray has his team heading for the playoffs and is considered by many to be the best coach in the league.
This family is enjoying the game from
the "farm" fence that runs past both dugouts
to the outfield wall.
